Carrick Sprints 2007 Draw

The Regatta will be run on the basis of each crew having been allocated a number at the time of the draw - as each crew passes the start line on their way up they will be considered "Declared" - crews not having gone past the start 5 mins before the scheduled race time will be considered as "Not Declared" and will therefore not race - if all crews have Declared then Crew 1 Crew 2 and Crew 3 will race in the first Heat where heats are necessitated. If any of either Crew 1, 2 or 3 do not delcare and the category entry numbers permit Crew 4 will then move up one heat and race in the previous heat time and then Crew 5, 6 & 7 will race in the next one and so on - this will hopefully eliminate the need for row-overs on the day.

If the timetable permits we may also offer a Mixed 4+ & 2x event. Clubs may enter these events but clubs must be aware that we have a maximum capacity of 120 races on the day due to cruiser traffic so if this number is reached these will be the first two events pulled from the programme

Adaptive Event

Carrick Rowing Club are delighted to announce that we will also be holding an adaptive event in our programme in conjunction with the IARU - full details of entry etc can be got from Martin Corcoran in the IARU by e-mailing ceo@iaru.ie
