We wish to advise that the following applies to all members of Carrick on Shannon Rowing Club and must be adhered to at all times.

Rowing must always take place in daylight hours and where crews are departing without the knowledge of anyone else they must record their departure in the Departure Book which is provided at the rear of the Boathouse.

Crews must ensure that the boat is in good working order and that the heel restraints are fully functional and the bow ball is in place before departing from the slipway.

Cosxwains should always wear a life jacket.

The First Aid Kit should be freely available at all times and should be checked at regular intervals that it is properly stocked.

Beginner / Novice crews are to be accompanied at all times and under no circumstances are they to take out a boat without prior consent and guidance from an experienced member of the Club.

Launch Drivers are reminded that there is a 5kph speed limit within the town boundaries and when they are outside these boundaries that are to act in a proper and considerate way to other water users.
