Sprint Championship Events

Carrick on Shannon Regatta Events

·          Races will be rowed under the rules of the IARU over a 450 metre course

·          All entries must be on official entry forms and accompanied by the appropriate fees,

	club registration number and athlete registration numbers.

·          Entries close Wednesday 21st July at 6.00pm. The draw will take place at 8.30pm that

	evening in Carrick Rowing Club Boathouse. Please note that the close of entries at

	6.00pm is final and no further entries will be accepted beyond this time.

·          We would ask that all clubs entering crews provide a contact phone and fax number

	for your club on the day of the draw.

·          Please note that the address for entries is as follows:

·          Hostel / Hotel / Guesthouse accommodation is available while there is also a large lawn to

	the side of the boathouse for camping. Due to limited accomodation available within the

	town it is advisable to book early.

·          All participating clubs are requested to provide the Regatta Committee with a Certificate of

	Marine Liability Insurance.

·          Junior 15 & 16 oarspeople may only enter a maximum of two events.

       Entry fees will be €10.00 per seat (including coxes) for all Open and Novice Championship

	events and €7.00 per seat (including coxes) for Junior Championship events. Fee's for Carrick

	Regatta events will be €5.00 per seat at Mixed and Veteran level and €4.00 per seat at Junior 16, 15 & 14
